Olivier Tallec is a french children's book Illustrator. He is currently an artist in residence at San Francisco's Cartoon Art Museum. He also has a great little exhibit at the San Francsico Public Library and while you are there you should also check out Irreplaceable: Wildlife in a Warming World. He had some fabulous drawings down at the library which I am going to have to go back and try and get some pictures of. I did buy one of his books, Thumbelina of Toulaba (written by Daniel Picouly), while I was visiting the cartoon art museum. Thumbelina of Toulaba includes some great animal drawings, here are some of my favorites:
There are more that are only published in French.
